Director Romain Gavras

This is one of the craziest video's that I came across with a style of realism by director Romain Gavras. Enjoy !!!

My Theme Song

My Zeal

I didn't understand why I loved skateboarding/Longboarding so much until I watched "Dogtown and Z-Boys". This movie meant so much to me because I had no idea how skateboarding evolved. I started skateboarding as a youngster from riding a skateboard that was in messy department store. It was so natural to me the way I glided across the department store floor. From that moment on I knew what wanted for christmas. I didn't know much about skateboarding at the time so everything I learned I taught myself. I remember now that my passion for skateboarding soon came to an end from lack of encouragement and knowledge. My department store board was no good. I hated how I would fly off the board when a crack or pebble was in my path. Being the only Black kid in my neighborhood the skateboarded was also a little discouraging. I had no one to with. Now I have the resources , knowledge and money for my hobby. Wheel bite is no longer an issue. Back then the problem was the small wheels and now I roll on 70mm 80a sector nine wheels which means no more wheel bite. I developed my style of riding and now I want a board more suitable for my riding experience. This year I cant wait to get my hands on the loaded Tan Tien. Special shout outs to all the the Z-Boys and skaters worldwide. Skate on !!!
